If you or someone you care about deals with anxiety (either chronically or periodically), you know how disruptive it can be to one’s life. It can cause us to feel on edge at times, can lead to panic attacks, disrupt sleep and even cause physical health issues. So what can we do?

There are many tips and tricks to help us deal with anxiety, from meditation and exercise to listening to music, eating healthfully and seeing a therapist if needed. And those things do help.

But sometimes we can find relief and comfort in other ways. I personally keep an anti-anxiety pouch with me in my purse in case I start to feel a little anxious. Having these few things with me does help. Besides the few things I keep in my pouch, I do utilize a few other items.

Aromatically, topically and even internally. I use the oils for several things, tummy troubles, skin issues and anxiety/depression.

3. Ear Buds. I always carry some kind of earbuds with me. If I feel any anxiety or depression bubbling up, I like to retreat to my music. It helps to calm me or lift me up.

There are a variety of earbuds n the market. I know folks love their Air Pods. I hear they are great. I am just not into the price tag, so I have opted for a pair of iFrogz Sport Wireless Earbuds.

They come in a wireless charging case and are the wrap-around-the-ear kind of earbud. Which I find more comfortable. Sound quality has been good for me as far as talking on the phone as well as listening to music. Very portable and the charge lasts a long time, so they are ready whenever you need them.

4. Weighted Blanket. Research has shown that the weighted blanket can be used to help comfort, calm and decompress adults and children. It’s like giving a warm hug.
